Our commitment to sustainability, circular economy & fair work
Sustainability is not an add-on for Kompotoi, but the basis – from the local production of our dry toilets to ecological cleaning, the conscious use of resources and fair working conditions.
This is how sustainability is practiced at Kompotoi – consistently and effectively:
Production
We produce all our products locally in Switzerland. To this end, we work together with the St. Gallen-based company Blumer Lehmann and the integrative Dock Group.
Raw materials
Most of our construction timber comes from the EU and is PEFC-certified.
Our wood shavings are made from pure Swiss wood.
Printed products
Our product flyers are Cradle to Cradle certified.
So you can simply compost your copy at home when you no longer need it.
Team
Our team is the most important pillar of Kompotoi. Flexible working hours, an open culture of discussion and flat hierarchies – all this, together with a collegial and respectful approach, ensures a good working atmosphere in which our employees feel comfortable.
Salary
We pay fair wages including a 13th month’s salary and pay attention to an appropriate pay gap.
