Unlike conventional chemical toilets, Kompotois can largely be cleaned and maintained by the user – without any chemicals or special accessories. This saves costs and conserves resources.
A Kompotoi can be used up to 500 times before it needs to be emptied. Various service models are available for this – from selective cleaning to all-round care:

Maintenance and service options at a glance
1. Regular maintenance
A fixed maintenance schedule – daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly – ensures that toilets are reliably clean and ready for use. The service includes replacing the collection tank, cleaning the toilet, emptying the waste garbage can and replenishing consumables such as toilet paper, disinfectant and litter. In addition, the urine tank is pumped out and minor maintenance is carried out as required.
Cleaning is carried out in a resource-conserving manner – with minimal water consumption and biodegradable cleaning agents based on effective microorganisms.
This service ensures smooth operation – without any further maintenance work on the part of the customer.
2. Maintenance on demand
If the workload is not constant or maintenance requirements are difficult to predict, maintenance on call offers a flexible and needs-based solution. A short message by phone, e-mail or via the online form is all it takes – on-site support is provided within three working days.
The service includes replacing the collection container, cleaning the toilet, emptying the waste garbage can and refilling consumables such as toilet paper, disinfectant and litter. In addition, the urine tank is pumped out and minor maintenance is carried out as required.
Cleaning is resource-friendly – with minimal water consumption and biodegradable cleaning agents based on effective microorganisms.
This maintenance option is particularly suitable for locations with varying usage or as an interim solution before a fixed maintenance cycle.
3. Replacement of spare material
For locations where maintenance is carried out independently, Kompotoi provides the necessary consumables and suitable tools. You can replace the buckets and empty the urine tank yourself on site. Appropriate instructions are available.
Litter, disinfectant and toilet paper are supplied – reorders are possible at any time. The urine tank can be emptied using a hose; a suitable pump is optionally available in the maintenance set. Filled buckets are sealed airtight and stored odor-free until collection.
As soon as all the buckets are full, a short notification by phone, e-mail or online form is all that is needed – the buckets will be replaced within three working days. Alternatively, it is possible to return full tubs independently after prior notification and take fresh replacement material directly with you.
4. Self-composting
For certain applications – such as in private gardens or by clubs – composting can be carried out by the customer. It is important to adhere to the applicable regulations, particularly with regard to soil and water protection.
All relevant information on home composting is available online. If required, Kompotoi provides support with practical experience and advises on the implementation of individual solutions.
5. Daily maintenance for major events
At larger events such as festivals, markets or sporting events, Kompotoi’s daily maintenance service ensures that the toilet facilities are continuously looked after directly on site. The staff deployed take care of cleaning, emptying and refilling consumables such as toilet paper, disinfectant and litter for the entire duration of the event.
This ensures that sanitary provision is guaranteed throughout the entire event – regardless of the number of guests or intensity of use. The effort involved in organizing the event is minimized, while comfort and hygiene are guaranteed at all times.
Delivery and collection throughout Switzerland
Kompotoi delivers dry toilets throughout Switzerland – from Monday to Friday, including Saturdays by arrangement. Deliveries are made directly to the desired location, whether outdoors, on construction sites or in event rooms.
All delivery vehicles are equipped with a crane and enable the Kompotois to be positioned precisely on site. In addition, the toilets are mounted on pallets so that they can be easily moved with a pallet trolley or set up indoors if required – for example in exhibition halls or event locations.
Collection is just as reliable and punctual. This ensures a smooth process before, during and after use.
